Job summary

Pete & Gerry’s is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Flat Washer to join our team. In this role, you will clean and maintain pallets and flats to meet our hygiene and safety standards, supporting a clean, organized work environment.

You’ll operate wash tanks, inspect pallets for debris, and assist with labeling and wrapping for shipments, on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, with weekend options. We offer medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a processing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Turn on and prepare wash tank at the start of shift.
• Ensure proper tools and supplies for cleaning, scraping, and inspection of pallets.
• Inspect pallets for debris, stickers, glue, or other quality concerns.
• Stack cleaned pallets and label as required.
• Wrap pallet stacks to prepare for shipments.
• General housekeeping including cleaning eggs off the floor, organization of materials, waste receptacles.
• Comply with all food safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and process efficiency.
