Job summary

Pete & Gerry's Organics, LLC is seeking a reliable Flat Washer to join our team. You will clean and maintain pallets and flats to meet hygiene and safety standards, ensuring a clean, organized work environment.

Responsibilities include starting up the wash tank, stocking tools, inspecting pallets for quality, and completing routine housekeeping while complying with food-safety procedures and regulatory requirements. This position is on-site with day shift expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a processing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Turn on and prepare wash tank at the start of shift.
• Ensure proper tools and supplies are available for cleaning, scraping, and inspection of the pallets.
• Inspect pallets as they exit machine for debris, stickers, glue, or any other quality concerns.
• Stack cleaned pallets and label as required.
• Wrap pallet stacks to prepare for shipments.
• General housekeeping including cleaning eggs off the floor, organization of materials, emptying and cleaning of waste receptacles.
• Comply with all food safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and process efficiency.
