Qualifications

  • Able to perform repetitive and fast paced work, in very hot or cold warehouse environment depending on department.

Responsabilités

  • After the pastries are automatically glazed and individually wrapped in foil by the machine, randomly select pastries off the line and visually verify they have the correct date mark
  • Place checked product back on the line, so it is able to get manually packaged into boxes for shipment
  • Off-load groups of three packages from the line and place into a large shipping box
  • Tape the box shut using a tape gun and place on a pallet in a specific design, ensuring the label faces out
  • Push the totes on a cart to the machine, where the line leader will empty the contents to start production
  • Place clean and empty totes at the end of the machine to collect the mixed product as it comes out
  • Continuously remove the filled totes and replace with empty totes as the machine is running, placing filled totes in designated areas for further processing.
  • If working on cereal line, you will be asked to use a pallet jack to move mixed cereal to packaging line
  • When product is done running, clean the machine to ready it for the next batch, by sweeping around the area and bringing the proper cleaning supplies to the machine for sanitation workers
  • Bring mixed cereal to the line by pallet jack, so the line leader can dump it into machine to start packaging process
  • Grab filled bags and weigh them to ensure correct weight
  • Place product back onto the line, so it can automatically be placed into a cereal box by the machine
  • Keep the machine filled with boxes, by removing 50+ boxes at a time and placing them manually into a machine
  • Make large boxes by hand by folding the corrugate and taping using a tape gun
  • Off-load four cereal boxes at a time and box in the previously created larger shipping box and pass through an automatic tape machine
  • Palletize the box in a specific arrangement and ensure the label is facing out
  • Open up boxed product using a box cutter, and remove the product from the boxes
  • Check date mark, weigh product, and determine if there are any quality issues
