Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC is seeking Packaging Machine Operators for the Weekend Night Shift on a three-day schedule. You will set up and operate packaging lines, monitor quality, and assist maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Fri-Sun 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Must read and understand English instructions and communicate effectively.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain forklift license (training provided).
• Knowledge of packaging machine equipment is preferred, but training available.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day.
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing).
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed.
• Keep accurate records of production, film usage, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines.
• Train new operators as needed.
