Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure accurate medication administration, treatments, documentation, and care planning.
• Apply the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure continuity from admission to discharge.
• Visit residents daily to assess physical and emotional status and report changes to the charge nurse, physician, or DON.
• Identify resident problems and emergencies and initiate immediate lifesaving measures when a physician is unavailable.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
