Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Package (6PM–6AM, Friday–Sunday)

Belle Plaine Specialty Care, part of the Care Initiatives network, is hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Weekend Package position. This role is ideal for nurses who want a consistent schedule while earning premium weekend pay.

Position Details

• Status: Weekend Package
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Location: Belle Plaine Specialty Care, Belle Plaine, IA

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, overnight care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans
• Supervise and guide overnight CNA and support staff
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and timely communication with on-call providers
• Uphold federal and state regulations for long-term care facilities
  
  

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (Iowa or ability to activate)
• Valid CPR certification
• Prior experience in long-term care or overnight nursing preferred
• Strong sense of accountability, compassion, and attention to detail
