Job summary

RTX seeks an Operator to join a high-performing Operations and Sustainment team, embedded on-site for a system considered mission critical by the government. You will support 24x7 operations, troubleshoot Tier 1/2 issues, and collaborate with engineers, customers, and vendors to restore services.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 2+ years; U.S. citizenship and active security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or anAdvanced Degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with Linux commands and troubleshooting in a government/mission-critical environment.
• Strong customer support skills and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for system anomalies.
• Maintain environment and restore operations; assist with upgrades.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and OS issues; escalate as needed.
