KRE Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for weekend overnights in Reading/Zeiglersville, PA. The role features a third-shift schedule with Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, and a base pay of $18.00/hour plus a $0.25/hour differential for military veterans and active-duty service members.

Candidates should be dependable, able to follow clear procedures, and willing to work a steady, non-rotating post with consistent hours and a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Prior experience in unarmed security or related fields preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with patrol operations, access control, and incident reporting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence overnight.
• Conduct routine foot and mobile patrols.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and site conditions.
• Observe, document, and respond to incidents or safety concerns.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports (Belfry Software).
• Enforce post orders, site policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, site contacts, and fellow officers.
