Job summary

ABM Industries in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Night Janitorial Supervisor to lead a cleaning team at a large distribution facility. The role requires guiding a 12-hour weekend shift and maintaining performance and safety standards.

You will supervise staff, inspect cleanliness, manage supplies, and coordinate with site leadership while ensuring responsive handling of issues and emergencies. This position offers overnight hours Fri–Sun.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in janitorial services.
• Night shift and/or 12-hour shift experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team during extended overnight shifts.
• Strong dependability, attendance, and ability to work Fri–Sun schedule.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical duties during a 12-hour shift.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, tools, and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling.
• Must respond quickly to urgent cleaning needs.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Night Janitorial Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at a large distribution facility. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in an overnight environment and can keep a team engaged and accountable during 12-hour weekend shifts.

Shift

5:00pm - 5:30am, Friday - Sunday Three 12-hour shifts per week

Compensation

$21/hr. The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical duties throughout a 12-hour shift


• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, tools, and safety guidelines.


• Strong leadership and team management skills.


• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work independently and manage a team.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple.


• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling.


• May require early morning or evening hours based on schedules.
