Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a weekend Occupational Therapist (OT) for a per diem role at the Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Staten Island, NY. The position offers mentorship, career growth, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• New York State OT License is required.
• Weekend OT per diem role in Staten Island, NY with hospital/rehab facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents perform tasks and monitor their progress.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintain cooperative relationships among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.
