Formación

• Four years of healthcare experience prior to applying to PA program.
• One year of experience as PA, preferably in clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Prescribe medications and treat illnesses including suturing wounds.
• Consult with physicians for complicated medical cases.

Conocimientos

Understand role of physicians and physician assistants

Familiar with anatomy and clinical medicine

Able to apply patient assessment techniques

Able to diagnose and treat medical problems

Skill in developing/revising patient care plans

Able to collaborate effectively with physicians

Educación

Bachelor’s degree and completion of accredited PA program

National PA-C certification
