Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an RN II for Surgery in Fort Worth. This full-time weekend-shift role involves two 12-hour weekend shifts plus one weekday shift (0630-1900) with no on-call. The unit handles high-acuity surgical cases, robotics, and complex spine/ortho procedures, offering strong clinical exposure.

Required: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing; RN license; BCLS and ACLS within specified timelines; 1 year RN experience or residency. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in nursing is required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN residency is required.
• Current RN licensure upon hire; BCLS and ACLS within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Initiates information-sharing with patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and settings.
