Job summary

CBRE Government & Defense Services in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a part-time custodian responsible for basic cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping and trash disposal in high-traffic areas.

Shift is Saturday and Sunday 7:00am–7:00pm. Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of related experience. On-site position with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour and eligibility for company benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of job-related experience required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and moving furniture.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move and rearrange furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
• Follow safety procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
