Legend Oaks Healthcare in Kyle, TX is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for PRN weekend evaluations. Join our in-house therapy team and enjoy a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to patient care with leadership support.

You will screen and treat patients with cognitive and ADL needs, document progress, and participate in discharge planning, while adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in good standing.
• Open to applicants of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL functioning disorders.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment per requirements.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (ADL retraining, exercises, modalities).
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Provide discharge summaries and communicate progress with the team.
