Qualifications

• OT license in good standing (TX)
• Open to applicants of all experience levels
• Weekend PRN availability required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL disorders and develop appropriate plans of care.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment per regulatory requirements.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record per requirements.
• Evaluate outcomes and refer as needed based on progress.
• Provide counseling to patients and families.
• Communicate progress with supervisor and health team members.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
