Job summary

AristaCare at Cedar Oaks in South Plainfield, NJ is hiring a Weekend Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team on weekend shifts within a 230-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This role requires a current New Jersey RN license and prior leadership experience in SNF/LTC settings.

You will serve as the nursing leader on duty, supervising RNs, LPNs and CNAs on the floor, responding to resident changes and family questions, ensuring care is delivered per care plans, and

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license is required.
• Prior experience as Nursing Supervisor or Unit Manager in SNF/LTC is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility and long-term care settings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the nursing leader on duty during weekend shifts, overseeing all clinical operations in the facility.
• Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on the floor.
• Respond to clinical concerns, resident changes in condition, and family questions as the go-to decision-maker.
• Ensure care is delivered according to care plans, facility policy, and state and federal regulations.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing and leadership team on weekend events and follow-ups.
