Job summary
Norway Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Weekend Supervisor (Charge Nurse) to lead an interdisciplinary team and ensure the health and well-being of residents. Location: Norway, Maine. Weekend/Sat & Sun shifts with flexible hours and a $2K sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate patient care. Competitive pay and strong benefits offered.
Qualifications
- Valid state nursing license.
- Advanced degree or certification preferred.
- Experience in supervisory/leadership role in long-term care preferred.
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervising nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Overseeing daily operations including staffing and resource allocation.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards.
- Providing mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
