Job summary

Norway Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Weekend Supervisor (Charge Nurse) to lead an interdisciplinary team and ensure the health and well-being of residents. Location: Norway, Maine. Weekend/Sat & Sun shifts with flexible hours and a $2K sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate patient care. Competitive pay and strong benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in supervisory/leadership role in long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

As a Nursing Supervisor, you will lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include oversight of the facility operations, safety, cleanliness and compliance to nursing policies, procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
• Overseeing daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications of a Nursing Supervisor include:

• Valid state nursing license
• Advanced degree or certification preferred
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
