Job summary

John Scott House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor to work Saturdays and Sundays. The role requires an active RN or LPN license and CPR certification, plus hospital or nursing home experience including supervision and teaching.

Located in Braintree, MA, the facility emphasizes high-quality resident care and supportive staff. Weekend shifts offer generous differential and a team-focused environment for skilled supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered RN or LPN license and CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; at least one year in long-term care.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; strong computer skills.
• Rehabilitative and restorative nursing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.
