Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents on Saturdays and Sundays, 7a–3p. The role supports daily living activities, reports changes to the Charge Nurse, and assists with basic health tasks and meal services.

Ideal candidates hold a Ohio STNA license or are a valid CNA with weekend availability, and possess strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate demeanor.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled.
• Experience: Two to four years preferred.
• English: ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Office and web basics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct resident care and activities of daily living.
• Lift, turn, position, bathe, dress and groom residents as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and provide restorative care.
• Take vitals, weights, and document accurately in records.
• Maintain room cleanliness and assist with admissions and training.
