Job summary

Leisure Vale Assisted Living in Glendale, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CNA will provide basic patient care, assist with daily activities, and monitor vital signs as part of our high-quality healthcare team.

Required qualifications include a California CNA license, High School Diploma or GED, BLS and CPR certifications, and prior CNA experience. Competitive wages, flexible schedule, and strong support from management are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

A Certified Nursing Assistant provides healthcare and support to patients in a medical facility. Their main duties include offering basic physical assistance to patients, feeding patients according to their dietary needs, and recording vital signs. Other daily tasks are the following:

• Help patients use the bathroom
• Clean and bathe patients or residents
• Maintain patients’ hygiene and changed bedding
• Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds
• Serve meals and help patients eat their food
• Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
• Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor

Qualifications:

• EDUCATION: Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a certificate and license as a CNA in the state of California in accordance with the law
• Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association
• Must have an active CPR Certification
• Experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
