Leisure Vale Assisted Living in Glendale, CA seeks compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our caregiving team. You will provide essential daily support, assist with activities of daily living, and monitor residents' well-being under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with basic daily activities and personal care.
• Help patients in bathroom and with mobility.
• Maintain hygiene and change bedding.
• Turn, reposition, and transfer patients.
• Assist with meals and monitor intake.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN/doctor.

A Certified Nursing Assistant provides healthcare and support to patients in a medical facility. Their main duties include offering basic physical assistance to patients, feeding patients according to their dietary needs, and recording vital signs. Other daily tasks are the following:

• Help patients use the bathroom

• Clean and bathe patients or residents

• Maintain patients’ hygiene and changed bedding

• Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds

• Serve meals and help patients eat their food

• Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature

• Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor

Qualifications:

• EDUCATION: Must have High School Diploma or GED

• Must have a certificate and license as a CNA in the state of California in accordance with the law

• Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association

• Must have an active CPR Certification

• Experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
