Job summary

North End Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing staff, ensuring safe, compassionate, and compliant resident care. This part-time role offers weekend shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-3pm) with hourly pay between $38 and $60, and daily pay options.

A current MA RN or LPN license and BLS CPR are required, with 5 years nursing experience and 1–2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting, with at least one (1) to two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care centers.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide, support, and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability and high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
