Job summary

Aventura at the Bay is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor (LPN/RN) to lead our clinical team on Saturday and Sunday nights and days in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensure high-quality resident care, and coordinate with physicians and families.

Ideal candidates hold FL RN or LPN license, have 2+ years in long-term care, and prior supervisory experience. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Active FL RN or LPN license.
• 2+ years of LPN/RN experience in long-term care.
• Prior supervisory/charge nurse experience required.
• CPR/BLS certification (ACLS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff (LPNs & CNAs) during weekend shifts.
• Serve as Nurse-in-Charge, ensuring smooth clinical operations.
• Oversee resident care, assessments, and care plan implementation.
• Respond to changes in condition and medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Coach, mentor, and support team members.
