Job summary

Brighton Post Acute Care in Boston, MA is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing staff Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role requires an MA RN or LPN license, BLS CPR, and 5 years of nursing experience with 1–2 years in supervision.

Expect collaborative care, regulatory compliance, and strong leadership in a 78-bed sub-acute facility. The position offers clinical leadership, quality improvement involvement, and a supportive environment focused on resident-centered

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered MA RN or LPN license.
• BLS certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of five years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or healthcare setting.
• One to two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care centers.
• Effective communication and leadership skills; ability to guide and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and support as needed.

• Support accurate and timely documentation in line with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to clinical concerns and assist in resolving issues involving residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support facility-wide clinical goals.

Range: $38.00 - $52.00 hourly

Qualifications for Weekend Nurse Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting, with at least one (1) to two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care centers.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide, support, and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability and high standards of care.
