Avenues Recovery Center is seeking an Intake Nurse for the weekend day shift at our residential facility in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves managing the medical intake process and performing standard nursing duties to support a smooth transition into treatment.

We require a nursing diploma with current Indiana licensure or multi-state privileges, plus addiction treatment experience. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care are essential for this position.

• Minimum one year nursing diploma program completed.
• Current state licensure to practice in Indiana (or compact licensure with multistate privileges).
• Addiction treatment experience required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask.

Responsabilités

• Manage complete medical intake to ensure a seamless transition into treatment.
• Complete nursing shift duties (vital signs, drug screens, scheduling, labs).
• Coordinate pharmacy needs, dispense medications, and maintain med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure complete, timely, and accurate medical documentation for each client.

Now hiring Intake Nurses for the Weekend Day Shift (Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7a - 7p) for our residential facility in Indianapolis, Indiana!

What You'll Do

• Manage complete medical intake process to ensure a seamless transition into treatment
• Complete all nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, scheduling appt.s and lab work etc.)
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep accurate med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams for total coordination of care
• Ensure complete, timely and accurate medical documentation for each client

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school
• Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Addiction related experience required
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented, withy ability to multitask and work efficiently
• Compassionate and dignified character which models recovery principles
