Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring weekend day shift RNs and LPNs to provide quality medical care from 6am to 6pm. Join a 100-bed residential facility offering detox and inpatient rehab with a dedicated team.

Expect collaborative care across medical, clinical, and UR teams, thorough documentation, and patient education. Current IN RN/LPN licensure required; diploma nursing program completion is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a post-high-school nursing diploma program.
• Current RN or LPN licensure in-state or multi-state compact licensure.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient multitasker.
• Compassionate, recovery-focused character.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings

What You'll Do

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
