Open 8am-8pm weekdays and 8am-4pm weekends, no on-call or overnights; malpractice insurance provided. Competitive compensation: $77/hour plus monthly productivity bonuses and annual bonuses.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP) for Nurse Practitioners; Licensed to practice medicine in New York, ACLS certified.
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution and NCCPA Certification for Physician Assistants; Licensed to practice in New York, ACLS certified.

Aufgaben

• Provide medical treatment, consultation and diagnosis to an ambulatory walk-in community.
• Select, order, perform and interpret tests.
• Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patient.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care.
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, management of orthopedic injuries, and provide referrals to medical specialists.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
• Provide occupational health physical examinations and interpretation of OSHA based tests.
• Attend to emergencies as needed.
• Complete thorough documentation.
