GoHealth Urgent Care in the Hudson Valley, NY is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners for per diem roles. Candidates should have urgent care or emergency medicine experience and can treat both adult and pediatric patients. The per diem rate is $90/hour.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate acute episodic conditions and provide timely care.

• Direct more serious cases to emergency department and coordinate patient flow.

Per Diem Nurse Practitioner Career Opportunities in Hudson Valley, NY

Due to our growth and expansion, we are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) who have urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse community of providers in our Hudson Valley area.

Schedules Being Considered Include

• Per Diem (PRN) (90$/ hour)

Our Advanced Practitioners (NP/PAs) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. It is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

Our centers are open 7-days a week. Our hours of operation range from Monday - Sunday 8:00am - 8:00pm

Minimum Required Qualifications

• NP: 1 year of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages).
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
