Job summary

Emergency One is looking to hire Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for weekends in our Kingston office, a privately held urgent care practice serving the Hudson Valley.

Open 8am-8pm on weekdays and 8am-4pm on weekends. Compensation includes $77 per hour, monthly productivity bonuses, and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and NY license; AANC or AANP certification; ACLS certification.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA certification; NY license; ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment, consultation and diagnosis to an ambulatory walk-in community.
• Select, order, perform and interpret tests.
• Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patient.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care.
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, management of orthopedic injuries, and referrals to medical specialists.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
• Provide occupational health physical examinations and interpretation of OSHA based tests.
• Attend to emergencies as needed.
• Complete thorough documentation.
