Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Middletown, DE on a weekends-only, part-time schedule (1–2 days/week) with rounding in an inpatient rehab facility.

You will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and benefit from a 3‑month onboarding program, clinical mentor support, and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• NP or PA license (Delaware) and DEA.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inpatient medical assessments, including history and physical exams.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions per rehabilitation plan.
• Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation physicians, nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide medical education to patients and families related to recovery, comorbidities, and prevention.

TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate and quality-drivennurse practitioner orphysician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Middletown, Delaware. This is apart-time (weekends)opportunity (1-2days/week)rounding in an inpatient rehab facility, with excellentsupport and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $41,976 to $83,952 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

In this role, you'll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. You will have an opportunity to deliver exceptional care during life's pivotal moments.

Our comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. Growth and leadership opportunities within this market are available as well.

Modules in our Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) will position you for success in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with the facility leadership as a valued partner of the team. This educational program is best-in-class and not provided by any other organizations practicing post-acute medicine.
