This part-time weekend role (1-2 days per week) involves rounding in an inpatient rehab facility, with strong support, autonomy, and uncapped earning potential on a fee-for-service basis. A thorough onboarding program and mentorship will help you integrate with our experienced clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• NP or PA license (State of Delaware) and DEA
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inpatient medical assessments, including history, physical exams, and review of rehabilitation goals
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with the rehabilitation plan
• Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals
• Collaborate with rehabilitation physicians, nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide medical education to patients and families related to recovery, comorbidities, and prevention
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations

Job description

TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate and quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Middletown, Delaware.

This is a part-time (weekends) opportunity (1-2 days/week) rounding in an inpatient rehab facility, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $41,976 to $83,952 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

In this role, you'll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. You will have an opportunity to deliver exceptional care during life's pivotal moments. Our comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. Growth and leadership opportunities within this market are available as well. Modules in our Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) will position you for success in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with the facility leadership as a valued partner of the team. This educational program is best-in-class and not provided by any other organizations practicing post-acute medicine.
