Job summary

Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Port Clinton, Ohio, seeks LPNs or RNs for Weekend Warrior roles to provide direct nursing care and weekend clinical support. The position emphasizes a stable, supportive team and a consistent schedule that respects your time off.

You will join a compassionate staff delivering high-quality care, coordinating with physicians and families, and ensuring accurate medication administration and resident assessments on weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable and committed to the Weekend Warrior schedule.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care in accordance with physician orders and residents' plans of care.
• Administering medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Completing nursing assessments and documentation.
• Monitoring residents and promptly communicating changes in condition.
• Supervising and supporting STNAs and other nursing team members.
• Communicating with physicians, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assisting with admissions, transfers, and changes in resident condition as needed.
• Following facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Helping create a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
