Job summary

Elizabeth Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a Weekend Nurse LPN/RN to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct patient care, support residents' daily health needs, and collaborate with our nursing and rehabilitation staff in a facility known for a caring work environment.

Qualified applicants hold a valid New Jersey LPN/RN license (or compact license) and CPR certification. Prior long-term care or rehab experience is preferred, and strong clinical documentation skills with teamwork

Qualifications

• Valid LPN or RN license in the state of New Jersey (or a compact license).
• Current CPR certification (required).
• Long-term care or rehabilitation facility experience (preferred).
• Excellent clinical and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician instructions.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Monitor residents' health status and report changes to RNs and physicians.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure quality care delivery.
• Document all care provided and ensure records are up to date and accurate.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory policies.
• Support residents' emotional and physical well-being through respectful and attentive care.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and appropriately.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
