Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a certified ARRT nuclear medicine program.
• Two years of nuclear medicine experience.
• ARRT-N and/or NMTCB certification required; BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and monitors tissue/organs localization.
• Operates nuclear medicine equipment and protocols to produce diagnostic studies.
• Positions patients and provides immobilization aids as needed.
• Determines appropriate isotope and protocol for each study.
• Maintains records of radioactive materials per regulatory guidelines.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintains safety, QA, and infection control standards.
• Schedules studies and coordinates patient flow.
• Assists in developing techniques for procedures as needed.
