Job summary

MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Nuclear Medical Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging care. This PRN role includes day and evening coverage and up to eight on-call shifts monthly; on-call hours are M-F 4:00 pm–11:00 pm and Saturdays 7:00 am–11:00 pm, with a split shift for on-call.

You will work within a team focused on safety, compassion, and professional growth, performing imaging procedures, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in Nuclear Medicine or certificate/advanced-degree program.
• CNMT/ NMTCB or ARRT(N) licensure required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure patient safety during imaging.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to provide diagnostic information.
