Job summary

The Springs at Lake Oswego is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents during the Friday to Sunday, 10:00pm–6:30am shift. You will administer or assist with medications, monitor residents, and coordinate with physicians and related health services to ensure high-quality care.

• Prior experience in senior care as a Med Tech, Caregiver, or similar.
• Experience administering medications to multiple clients at once.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug test.
• Genuine love for seniors and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Administering or assisting residents to self-administer medications and treatments.
• Remain observant of any problems or changes and report such problems to the appropriate parties.
• Communicate with physicians, implement orders, and document pertinent information.
• Coordinate with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services.
• Measure vital signs and weight; perform other health services tasks.
• Perform other caregiving duties as assigned.
