TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Lebanon, TN, is hiring a Weekend Ultrasound Technologist for Night Shift in the Women’s Ultrasound area. The role supports Fri 9:30p-6:00a, Sat-Sun 5:30p-6:00a, and Mon 9:30p-6:00a, with two 12-hour and two 8-hour shifts.

The Ultrasound Technologist performs imaging per physician orders, ensures quality patient care, and documents in Meditech and PACS. ARDMS/RDMS/RVT and BLS are required, plus one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registered or eligible within six months of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• RVT certification within one year of start date.
• RDMS and RDMS-AB within one year of start date.
• Minimum one year of ultrasound experience.
• Ability to work weekends and night shifts with enhanced differential.
• Inpatient and women's ultrasound experience preferred.
• Acute care experience scanning abdominal, vascular, OB and some peds preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Manage day-to-day activities to ensure quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform stationary and portable exams.
• Follow physician orders, document exam completion in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
• Follow proper procedures for quality controls and High-Level Disinfection related to equipment and accessories.
• Document patient history, including lab values.
