Job summary
TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform various imaging procedures and contribute to quality patient care in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
You will operate ultrasound equipment, document results, and verify images in PACS, while following physician orders and quality control procedures. RDMS credentials and BLS within 30 days are preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
- Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
- Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
- Follow physician orders, document exam completion in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
- Follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
- Document patient history, including lab values.
