Job summary

REGION VI COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH COMMISSION is hiring for an entry-level evening/night position based in Cleveland, MS. The role involves supervision of residents in group homes, assisting with daily tasks, and ensuring safety and cleanliness within the residence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid Mississippi Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Verbally prompt and assist members as needed to complete daily cleaning duties, personal hygiene, laundry, etc.
• Observe members daily for any problems (e.g., aggression, auditory or visual hallucinations).
• Assist with planning, cooking and serving of meals.
• Complete weekly physical facilities checklist and monthly fire drills.
• Maintain documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete and timely.
• Monitor the residence for cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Monitor and report need for supplies of residence (cleaning products, food items, housewares, etc.).
