Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a maintenance technician for the Wooster, Ohio facility. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable production.

The position requires two kinds of hands-on skills and the ability to work a 11:00 pm – 7:30 am shift in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, using preventive maintenance systems, and responding to calls to maintain equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
