Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the 7N IMCU in Norfolk, VA. This is a weekend night shift with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation packages available. The IMCU is a 16-bed mixed unit providing high-level care and clinical leadership under the department manager.

Qualified candidates will have BSN, Virginia RN license, and BLS within 90 days. Master’s degree preferred if not in nursing.

Qualifications

• 18 months of nursing experience required.
• BSN degree required; Master’s degree preferred if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Virginia RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for nursing care in the IMCU.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives and streamline workflow.
• Support staff development and improve staff satisfaction; promote Gold Standard customer service.
