Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Nights Registered Nurse (RN) in Hillsboro, Oregon, to join our team caring for individuals in custody. You will perform screenings, administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to emergencies in a correctional setting.

New grads are encouraged to apply; training is provided in the correctional healthcare field. The role requires a valid RN license, BLS/CPR, and strong team collaboration within security-minded environments.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible schedule with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial health screenings and physical assessments.
• Monitor and document patient health including vital signs and histories.
• Provide direct patient care, triage and coordinate services.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions; respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients on preventative care and healthy lifestyles.
