Job summary

VulcanForms, based in Devens, MA, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and staff. The role focuses on staffing, process timing, and performance evaluation within a 12-hour night shift (6 PM–6 AM, Fri-Sun, and alternating Thursdays).

The candidate will lead a high-volume team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and quality standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of managing a team of manufacturing professionals.
• Experience leading a team within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manufacturing across multiple product industries with rigorous quality standards.
• Self-motivated, hands-on, with a practical mindset, and capable of setting and reaching ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and train manufacturing staff in assigned areas.
• Lead, coach, and support the team's growth to reach maximum throughput.
• Conduct daily standup meetings, discussing goals, needs, and solutions.
• Prepare daily reports against planned manufacturing targets.
• Ensure all personnel have the necessary materials, tools and documents for the shift.
• Identify areas of improvement and collaborate cross-functionally on solutions.
• Assess future needs of production and develop implementation plans.
• Enforce OSHA standards and corrective action.
• Perform 7S and Lean projects.
