Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC is seeking a Processing Operator for the Weekend Night Shift in Hanover, PA. You will operate and monitor extrusion and related processing equipment to produce cheese curls and cheese balls, ensuring production runs smoothly and meets quality standards.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, recording production logs, assisting QA with quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Forklift/high-reach equipment operation is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to read and follow written procedures and safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete production records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extruders and processing equipment.
• Monitor equipment and adjust as needed to keep production running smoothly.
• Work with QA to complete quality checks and meet standards.
• Retrieve and stage raw materials for production.
• Complete production logs and material usage entries.
• Clean and sanitize equipment per procedures and sanitation schedules.
• Coordinate with processing and packaging teams to maintain flow.
• Assist training for new team members.
• Follow safety, food safety and quality procedures and report concerns.
• Maintain clean work area and assist with housekeeping.
• Operate forklifts and high-reach equipment as needed.
