Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Processing Operator in Hanover, PA on a weeknight shift (Mon-Thu 5:55PM-5:55AM) to prepare, operate, and monitor extruder and related equipment for cheese curls and balls production lines. You will perform quality checks with the QA team, retrieve raw materials, maintain logs, and ensure sanitation per procedures.

You will train new team members and work with processing and packaging teams to sustain workflow.

Qualifications

• Operates and monitors processing equipment on production lines.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment.
• Follows sanitation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a variety of processing equipment.
• Conduct quality checks with QA to ensure product meets standards.
• Retrieve and stage raw materials for production.
• Log component usage at shift end.
• Sanitize equipment according to procedures.
• Communicate with team to maintain workflow.
• Train new team members in processing operations.
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe practices.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and work around hot water and chemicals.
• Operate forklift/high-reach as needed.
