Job summary

Kindred Hospital Louisville at Jewish Hospital, a 30-bed long-term acute care facility on the Jewish Hospital campus in downtown Louisville, seeks a Weekend Night Shift Nursing Assistant. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, BCLS certification, and at least 6 months in an acute or long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to organize tasks, set priorities, and work under pressure.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in patient care.
• Help patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Record vital signs and document observations.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for admissions and transfers.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge procedures.
• Respond to call lights and requests from patients.
