Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg for El Paso, Texas. This full-time night-shift role delivers direct patient care, assesses and plans care, and supports leadership in staff competency and resource management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• 1 year RN experience for PRN status is required; acute care experience preferred.
• Current license to practice nursing; BLS mandatory; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Supervise staff and ensure appropriate care delegation.
• Assess, plan, implement nursing care based on nursing process.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
