Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a qualified Material Coordinator for weekend night shifts. You will oversee material flow to production lines, perform SAP transactions, and coordinate with receiving to ensure timely material availability.

Read and understand internal procedures for material handling.

Responsibilities

Manage material flow to all production lines as directed.
Pull and place material for production as required.
Perform SAP transactions to account for material movements.
Move QA Hold material to QA locations.
Pull and package material for suppliers.
Coordinate with receiving clerks to supply manufacturing areas with needed materials.
Rotate stock as required to optimize space.
Organize stock for efficient retrieval and placement.
Assist shipping/receiving as needed.
Participate in ongoing training on new equipment and processes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks to move materials.
Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
