Job summary

AESC US LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for weekend night shifts in Smyrna, TN, or other gigafactory locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and support new line installations while training others to uphold safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance of automated equipment, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration across production, engineering, and quality teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree in industrial maintenance technology, mechatronics, machine tool technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including PLCs, robotics, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
Program and maintain PLCs (Omron and Siemens preferred).
Assist installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
Document maintenance activities using the CMMS system.
Maintain safety compliance and promote a safety-first culture.
Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members.
Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Follow SOPs and work instructions; collaborate with production, engineering, and QA.
